Surveillance footage from a small noodle shop captures a violent outburst that began with a simple request for space. A young man, sitting back-to-back with a woman in a crowded eatery, politely asked her to move her chair forward after she repeatedly pushed it against him. The woman suddenly erupted in anger, shouting before grabbing a bowl of steaming noodles and dumping it over the man’s head. The scalding soup left him in visible pain and he and his father immediately confront the woman, almost getting into fight and forcing her to flee. Moments later, she returned to retrieve her phone, smashed the victim’s device on the ground, and left again without paying. Police arrived shortly after, reviewed the surveillance footage, and began an investigation into the incident, which has since drawn public outrage over such reckless aggression in a public place.
