Police observed truck with no lights on speeding. The truck nearly rear ended another car, passed that car in a no pass zone, then sped off. Police attempted a traffic stop, however the driver refused to pull over and fled all the way to their driveway, at which point they got out of the truck with a drink in their hand. The driver refused to cooperative or follow any commands. The Suspect then tried to run inside their house and through a drink of liquor at Officer. Suspect grabbed grabbed Officer's throat. A taser was deployed, but due to the extremely close proximity, it failed. A neighbor saw the fight and ran over and helped take Suspect onto the ground. The suspect continued to fight as K9 Asher arrived and Suspect on the ear. Once the suspect was bitten, he surrendered. Suspect was booked for the following crimes: Reckless driving, DUI, felony assault on a peace officer, obstructing, resisting arrest, fail to obey a police officer signaling a traffic stop, and driving on a suspended license. The family advised they tried to give the suspect a ride home from an event but he refused, and he didn’t have permission to drive their family company vehicle. Due to the fact the family needed the truck to earn their living, the decision was made not to impound the vehicle.

Police attempted to stop a reckless driver who attempted to flee at a traffic stop and a pursuit was started. Officers spiked the vehicle, flattening 3 tires and conducted a PIT maneuver, parking the suspect vehicle firmly into a tree. Five suspects wearing dark clothing and ski masks bailed on foot, with at least one of them armed with a handgun. K9 was sent after the driver. He was taken into custody. Passenger #2 and #3 heard K9 and surrendered. Passenger number 3 was pinned in by perimeter units in heavy brush. Police responded with a thermal equipped drone and guided us in until he was persuaded into custody. Passenger number 5 was located by K9 hiding in a shed he broke into. K9 also found a backpack the suspects tried to hide, containing a handgun and a short barrel AR15 with the serial number scratched off. A search warrant for the car was obtained by Police, which yielded ammunition and large black garbage bags. The license plate on the vehicle had blue tape altering some of the characters in an attempt to avoid detection. After conducting interviews, it was determined that the suspects came to to conduct a smash and grab on a local cannabis store. The driver was treated and released from the hospital for K9 bites. The suspects were booked on crimes ranging from attempting to elude a police vehicle, conspiracy to commit burglary 1st with a deadly weapon, burglary 2nd (shed), unlawful possession of firearms, obstructing law enforcement, and more.

The fleeing vehicle took the exit and crashed into a wall before being pinned in by the pursuing deputy. Two occupants were detained without further incident. A search warrant was executed on the vehicle to obtain the stolen merchandise. The passenger was booked for their theft, and also had an active warrant for theft. The getaway driver, a convicted felon on active supervision, was booked into jail for attempting to elude a police vehicle, reckless endangerment, and possession of stolen property. No damage was sustained to the patrol car or any uninvolved motorists, and the fleeing vehicle was impounded.

Citizen flagged down K9 and his handler and advised them that there was an armed drug dealer driving. A short time later, K9 and his handler tried to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle with tabs that expired but the car fled. A pursuit was initiated, in which the driver fled at speeds of 100mph.. The driver slid into a tree in a nearby neighborhood, at which point he fled on foot. K9 found the driver hiding under a deck. Despite numerous K9 warnings to crawl out, the suspect refused and instead chose to ignore commands and dig through his pockets and waistband. K9 was deployed and extracted the suspect out from under the deck, at which point he was placed under arrest. A search warrant was executed on the car, which yielded a loaded .357 magnum. Suspect is a three time convicted felon with significant criminal history in other states. He also had an active warrant out for communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. The suspect was treated for minor injuries from the dog bite and booked into jail for attempting to elude, unlawful possession of a firearm, and hit and run.

Deputies responded to a hit and run collision. Suspect left on foot, and there was evidence of open containers of alcohol inside the car. Deputies positively identified the suspect, and while on scene, the suspect returned carrying a motorcycle helmet. Suspect was advised he was under arrest. He then tried to get into a family members car and leave, at which point a deputy and his trainee went hands on. The suspect stated he was not going to jail before swinging and striking one deputy in the face with the helmet before pulling back and attempting to land another helmet strike when the trainee blocked it with his hand. The suspect was tackled to the ground, where deputies remained in a position of advantage until additional help arrived. Initially, the suspect claimed that he couldn’t breathe, however deputies weren’t pressing against his chest. When additional help arrived, the suspect claimed deputies were “breaking his neck” despite not kneeling or pressing against the neck area. The suspect was taken into custody for DUI, hit and run, assault 2nd degree, assault 3rd degree, resisting arrest, felony harassment threats to kill, driving on a suspended license, and driving without an ignition interlock.
