Officers located a stolen vehicle after a hit on our license plate reader system reported a truck stolen. Officers believed the suspect wouldn't cooperate after fleeing from a neighboring jurisdiction earlier in the morning. When officers moved in to pin the vehicle, the suspect tried to get away. He was spinning the tires on the truck to the point of smoke obscuring our dash cams. The suspect refused to exit the vehicle, and officers had to break the window to pull him out.
