During a routine fuel stop, a law enforcement officer was flagged down by a panicked group after a toddler began choking on a hot dog. The child was visibly struggling to breathe. Acting quickly, the officer performed several back blows followed by the Heimlich maneuver, successfully dislodging the blockage. The child began breathing normally and regained color almost immediately. Body camera footage captured the entire incident. The officer stayed with the family until paramedics arrived and confirmed the child was okay to go home.
