Dash-cam footage captures a high-speed motorcycle pursuit that ended abruptly when the rider lost control after a deer darted across the road. The chase had escalated following a traffic stop for a turn-signal violation and a missing license plate, with the motorcycle reaching estimated speeds close to 70 mph, despite heavy rain. The suspect threw items from the bike during the pursuit and crashed into a ditch off the roadway when the animal appeared, prompting troopers to call it a “wild assist.”
