A bus enters a terminal platform to park when it suddenly accelerates and crashes head-on into a structural pillar supporting the roof. The impact causes heavy damage to the front of the vehicle, shattering glass and denting both levels of the bus. A nearby guard narrowly avoids being struck by moving out of the way in time. No passengers were injured and operations continued without disruption.
